The Small Business Association (SBA, 2023) states, there are over 12 million women owned businesses locally, county-wide, states, and on the federal level; and they employ over 10.1 million workers. Government agencies encourages women owned businesses and offers financial assistance and support through various federal set-asides programs.


UPACC  champion and encourages women-owned businesses and  serves as their advocacy under its initiative 'HUB platform'. As women owned businesses expands across the nation and abroad their impact to their chosen industry  allows them access to the international market.

Minority Business Certification & Procurement

United People's Action Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (UPACC) in conjunction with Executive Business Alliance Chicago (EBAC) offers completion of all Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantage Certification, and certification with Sam.gov to do business on the Federal level  for black owned businesses; and other minority business owners.


Certifications registration includes  doing business with State of Illinois under its Business Enterprise Program (BEP), registration with the Board of Election and Higher Educational Institutions, Procurement registration (BidBuy), City, County, and States,  bids on the Federal level through their set-aside programs, completion of documentation with Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council,  obtaining Cage Codes, North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS), and more.
